The Art of Patience a Major Key to your Success – Staying on the Path
You know the saying that “Patience is a Virtue” this is definitely the Golden Rule to Living a Life of Optimal Health, Happiness, Vitality and Success. Developing patience is a daily and life long practice that will support you with perseverance and staying on the path. It is an art that many people do not fully understand, the importance of taking the time to implement into their daily life.
In the world today, of what I refer to as instantaneous combustion. Patience seems to be an art that’s importance has become even more relevant. The reason I refer to the world today, as instantaneous combustion, is because if it doesn’t happen now, anxiety rises, heating up many situations to people being rude, intolerant and rage. Not a great combination for a healthy, happy, peaceful and successful life.
The practice of patience is one of the most important keys to managing your mind, your thoughts and emotions. Enabling you to Build a Brilliant Mind, Positive Relationships, Optimal Health, Happiness and Success.
The first key to developing Patience begins with “Slowing Down”. Here I share with you a Fable Story about the Tortoise and the Hare. A Tortoise and Hare decide to race. The hare is so confident in the lead that he naps while the tortoise keeps going to win.
The Hare was making fun of the Tortoise one day for being so slow. “Do you ever get anywhere?” he asked with a mocking laugh. “Yes,” replied the Tortoise, “and I get there sooner than you think. I’ll run you a race and prove it.”
The Hare was much amused at the idea of running a race with the Tortoise, but for the fun of it he agreed. So, the Fox, who had consented to act as judge, marked the distance and started the runners off.
The Hare was soon far out of sight, and to make the Tortoise feel very deeply, how ridiculous it was for him to try a race with a Hare, he lay down beside the course to take a nap until the Tortoise caught up.
The Tortoise meanwhile kept going slowly but steadily, and, after a time, passed the place where the Hare was sleeping. But the Hare slept on very peacefully; and when at last he did wake up, the Tortoise was near the goal. The Hare now ran his swiftest, but he could not overtake the Tortoise in time and the Tortoise won the race.
“Moral to the Story – Slow and steady wins the race. Never to lose sight of the end result”
I am sure you have come across many people like the hare, in fact there may even been times when you thought similar. To stay on the path toward your Core Desires, Dreams and Goals, it is important to realize that nothing worthwhile is instantaneous and can often be quite difficult.
