Motivation – Stepping Stone to Determination

To achieve your Goals, you need more than Motivation. Whether you want to lose 10 kg or 60 kg, when it comes to achieving your Goals your know that you are going to need more than motivation. Motivation is the willingness that you must act on, based on what you have discovered from your Core Desires. Motivation being the steppingstone to determination, which enables you to build the life you want and achieve your dreams.

Now that you have completed Lessons 1 and 2, you have discovered 16 essential core desires and how to achieve your goals with them. You have also learned how to clear your mind and sustain positive outcomes. In addition, you will explore how motivation and determination relate to your willingness to take action. Because without action, dreams remain just that: dreams.

Motivation your Willingness to Take Action

Motivation is crucial for Breaking old Habits and Fostering the Desire to develop New Ones.

However, Motivation alone does not help you overcome obstacles; you also need the willingness, passion and the desire to act. This strengthens your determination. Motivation is like seeing the rainbow in the distance, but not knowing the path to reach it.

The next crucial step is

“Believing Everything is Possible & you Can!”

Believe You Can and Everything becomes Possible

What is amazing is that when you believe in yourself and that anything is possible, feelings of excitement, and thoughts of what action is necessary, starts to emerge within you. By believing that you are capable of achieving your goals and dreams. By taking the necessary action, is what will bring your dreams to life and achieve your goals.

Believing in oneself is a crucial step towards achieving success. Here are some steps that can help you believe in yourself:

  1. Change your perspective: Realize that you are the driver of your own success. See failures as opportunities, not obstacles. Learn from them, get up and achieve your goals.
  2. Conquer your limiting beliefs: Identify the beliefs that are causing negative emotions like self-doubt or anxiety. Replace them with empowering ones. Focus on improving your self-talk by replacing negative comments with positive thoughts.
  3. Practice self-love: Master the art of self-confidence by first mastering the arts of self-awareness and self-love. Love yourself by appreciating your uniqueness and have faith in yourself.

Remember, believing in yourself is not about uninterrupted success. It’s about being able to move on and learn from mistakes and failures to build better outcomes. It’s about having the courage to take risks and the resilience to bounce back from setbacks. You can do it! 💪

Getting Back to your Core Desires

These being the Fuel and Foundation for Developing your Motivation and Determination.

Revisit your Core Desires regularly to grasp what truly motivates you and develop strong feelings of determination. As you act and change, this regains Mental Clarity. Remember these three steps: Core Desires thrill you, Motivation fosters your Desire, and Determination drives your Action.

Steps to Revisit, Review and Summarize your Core Desires:

  • Ask yourself what you would like to have, do, experience, become, or achieve in different areas of your life, such as personal, professional, social, spiritual, etc. Write down your answers without censoring or judging them.
  • For each answer, ask yourself why you want it and how it would make you feel. This will help you uncover the underlying emotions and values that drive your desires. For example, if you want to travel the world, you might discover that you value adventure, learning, and freedom.
  • Rate each answer on a scale of 1 to 10, where 1 is the least important and 10 is the most important. This will help you prioritize your desires and focus on the ones that matter the most to you.
  • Review your list and look for common themes or patterns. These are your core desires, the ones that reflect your true essence and purpose. They are the source of your passion, motivation and determination.
  • Design your life around your core desires. Align your goals and actions with your core desires and create a plan to achieve them. Seek opportunities and resources that support your core desires and avoid distractions and obstacles that hinder them. Celebrate your progress and achievements and enjoy the satisfaction and happiness that come from fulfilling your core desires.

Believing in yourself is a vital key to fuelling your motivation. Believing that you Can!
