2 cups raw cashews
1 cup of raw pistachios
3/4 cup raw cacao powder
6 dates, pitted
1 tblespn. Coconut oil
¼ cup Filtered Water
1 cup shredded, dried organic unsweetened coconut flakes
2 tblespn Maple Syrup
Grind the cashews, pistachios in a food processor to a fine consistency then add the cacao, dates, coconut oil, maple syrup
Once everything is blended well, add the water (starting with smallest amount and build if need be) to make the mixture moist.
Empty mixture into a bowl and get ready to ROLL! Take a small amount of the mixture, and roll using the palm of your hands into balls about the size of a squash ball, (you can go smaller if you want to get more out of the recipe).
To make them look attractive and even tastier you can have say some coconut flakes in one bowl, crushed nuts, slivered almonds in another, then say cacao powder and roll them and press the ingredients to cover each ball evenly.
To keep the truffles firm store in the fridge until ready to eat.
